Part Time Real Estate Accountant

We're hiring a detail-oriented accountant to join our expanding real estate team! You'll reconcile accounts, keep track of accounts payable and receivable, and organize all our financial records. Responsibilities:

Ensure all records are ready for monthly and quarterly reporting
Facilitate all incoming payments and outgoing checks, including printing, obtaining signatures for, and distributing checks as necessary
Adapt to the needs of the real estate team to complete other accounting tasks when necessary
Input records into the computer to make sure financial data is filed accurately
Manage all business account reconciliation to ensure every transaction is accounted for
--- Manage, track, and reconcile Escrow account
--- Prepare and distribute end-of-year reports

Qualifications:

Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks
High school diploma required, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is highly valued
A background in accounting or finance is valuable, but not required
Capable of using property management software, such as Yardi
Able to write to and speak with vendors and clients effectively
