  Your Key Responsibilities
  • To actively support all Program Management activities for the BD Bearings group in Troy, MIchigan, which includes planning, use and implementation of project methods and tools used for project management at Schaeffler Group.
    
  • Monitor all projects and meet with individual Program Managers within the BD Bearings--group on a monthly basis to ensure all started projects are being maintained and progressing appropriately with action plans documented for--any--projects that are not.
    
  • Communicate and coordinate with global Project Managment team to ensure BD Bearings is up-to-date on the latest tools being used and is aware of the implementation of upcoming tools.-- Provide our input into the global team to make sure our voice is heard during the tool creation phase.
    
  • Coordinate, schedule and attend twice weekly New Projects Meeting and monthly BD Bearings North America Key Project Reviews while publishing meeting minutes and action items for these meetings.
    
  • Ensure that BD Bearings is meeting both--global and regional corporate requirements (P and PN procedures)--by understanding these procedures thoroughly and then--authoring and maintaining local Work Instructions (TBI) related to Program Management.
    
  • Be the Key User for any Program Management tools that are used including:--Planisware, Windchill gateway review and evidence submission, PMO Sharepoint page, etc.
    Your Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent technical--experience will be considered
      
    • 3 to 5 years experience working in the Automotive Industry
      
    • Experience with managing your own projects
      
    • Experience with Planisware and--Windchill software
