Job Description Job Description Pay Range: $24.00–$27.00 per hour (DOA) Schedule: Various About the Role We are seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to support our multi-family residential communities in Northern California . This position plays a critical role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and curb appeal of the property while delivering excellent service to residents. Ideal candidates are hands-on, dependable, and comfortable working in fast-paced, high-demand communities. Key Responsibilities Complete daily work orders efficiently while prioritizing resident satisfaction Perform apartment turns including painting, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and basic carpentry Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and major appliances Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and costly repairs Address weather-related maintenance needs common to Northern California (rainwater drainage, mold prevention, roofing checks) Maintain grounds, amenities, and common areas to company standards Ensure compliance with California safety regulations, Fair Housing laws, and local codes Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and onsite staff Qualifications Minimum 2 years of apartment or multi-family maintenance experience Strong skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) preferred Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions Strong customer service and time management skills Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus Compensation & Benefits Paid time off, sick time, and paid holidays (CA compliant) Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and comply with all California labor laws, including pay transparency , Fair Chance Act , and local jurisdiction requirements .
