Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time,
onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at
an elementary school serving PreK through 5th grade students in
Lorain, OH. This contract role covers the current school year and
involves supporting students in an environment that includes PreK
and K-5 autism classrooms. Responsibilities include: Providing
speech-language therapy services to a weighted caseload of
approximately 80 students Delivering compensatory services to
address needs from the period when the building was without an SLP
(since October) Supporting students who utilize AAC devices for
communication, especially within the autism classrooms
Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student
communication goals Qualifications: Licensed Speech-Language
Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
Experience working with early childhood and elementary school
populations, preferably with autism spectrum disorders Knowledge
and skills in AAC device support and implementation Ability to
manage and prioritize a weighted caseload effectively Strong
communication and collaboration skills This role requires full-time
onsite work to provide direct therapy and support within the school
