• Participate in production outage troubleshooting sessions as a storage SME.
• Attend and participate in project meetings for all projects, meeting project timelines with requested storage resources.
• Attend and participate in weekly team meetings.
• Schedule and perform storage maintenance activities during approved maintenance windows.
• Attend weekly CAB calls and present details for assigned change tickets.
• Maintain all assigned storage arrays in fully redundant status by responding to system generated failure alerts and coordinating with support vendors/ onsite personnel for needed repairs.
• Monitor storage team BPOTS queue and respond to tickets in a timely manner.
• Maintain always-on connectivity during normal working hours (email, chat, phone) and when on-call.Required Skillset:
  • Good knowledge and experience with Dell EMC (Isilon, VMAX, VNX) / HP / NetApp Storage solutions among others.
  • Experience in creating SVMs & volumes. Migrating SCMs & Volumes, evicting nodes from a cluster, adding nodes to a cluster. Volume creation\deletion\expansion, retiring LUNs in SQL clusters, iSCSI creation\configuration\modification.
  • Manage SAN fabric including fiber switch implementation and support
  • Multiprotocol NAS file sharing on multi-vendor platforms (EMC, NetApp, HPE, Dell, Isilon) utilizing vendor best practices.
  • Architect NAS solutions for enterprise-wide file sharing projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of network topologies as they apply to network file sharing.
  • Create and maintain multi-vendor business continuity solutions utilizing native replication technologies and best practices for each storage vendor platform.
  • Architect SAN solutions for multiple active projects.
  • Perform zoning operations on live production fabrics and provision SAN resources utilizing SAN best practices.
  • Manage multiple vendor support relationships, keeping all support contracts up to date, obtaining quotes and submitting purchase requests for renewals as needed.
