A leading provider of core components for global car manufacturers, VS Company is supporting the emerging trend of the vehicle industry.Position Overview:We are currently seeking a Contract Quality Engineering Intern to join our team in Troy, MI.
Estimated Internship Start: May 2023

Job Responsibilities:

• Understands the overall concept of LGE including products, team activities, goals, and all other aspects of Quality Engineering
• Rotates through VU Quality Engineering to train in variety of tasks
• Accepts designated, group-focused projects to research & study, so one can be competent to present their final project during internship conclusion
• Engages with customers by providing technical support service and vehicle tests for LGE products
• Provide suggestions to management for improving customer support and internal processes
• Develop a basic understanding in basic DC Electronic Circuits
• Assists in creating failure analysis investigation reports (8Ds, 5P, etc.)
• Develop basic understanding of all functional groups assigned to VU Quality Engineering
• Demonstrate ability to conduct initial analysis for incoming Warranty claims using assigned lab equipment
• Demonstrate basic understanding of Semiconductor Fabrication Process
• Support ongoing local warehouse inspection projects and failure/management process
• Support meeting minutes (note-taking) during customer meetings
• Other duties as assignedQualifications / Skills:

    • In 3rd (Junior) or 4th (Senior) year of college graduate program (Electrical Engineering / Computer Science)
    • Ability to Travel (Domestically) 20%Preferred (Not Required)
