Systems Resident Engineer
Responsibilities:
Resident Engineer is expected to provide development support and
interface of Body Control Module (BCM) and/or Advanced
Driver-assistance systems (ADAS) during the start of production
working closely with OEM
Understands BCM/ADAS software interface, structure and
communication. Familiarity with flashing tools.
Lead problem solving resolution, root-cause analysis and continuous
improvement efforts during launch phase of all programs assigned
either at OEM or manufacturing facility.
Responsible for interpreting the customer's specifications related
to the product -is developing for the OEM.
Lead customer prototype process, including coordinating and
expediting orders and shipments for prototype and development
parts.
Run regularly scheduled Product Development Team (PDT) meetings and
distribute meeting minutes and/or action item lists to the project
team members as required.
Communicate customer information to and from organizations outside
Engineering.
Requirements:
Bachelors in STEM with minimum 2+ years of experience in Automotive
or 4+ in Aerospace,
Preferred with bench testing experience and BCM or ADAS background,
Diagnostics (UDS) knowledge, CAN & LIN protocol.
Tools: CAPL scripting, Vector CANoe, Serial communication tools,
test simulator.
Understanding of vehicle Systems.
Driver's license is Mandatory.
Technical degree, excellent problem solving skills, leadership
qualities and team player.
