Spline Grinder – Direct Hire Location: Roseville, MI
Compensation: Up to $35/hour Schedule: First Shift | Monday–Friday
| 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM Optional OT Position Overview We’re hiring a
full-time Spline Grinder to join a precision manufacturing team.
This role involves operating manual and CNC machines to produce
high-accuracy internal and external spline forms used in aerospace,
defense, and industrial applications. Responsibilities Set up and
operate manual and CNC spline grinding machines Read and interpret
blueprints, specs, and work orders Grind splines to tight
tolerances and fine finishes Use precision tools (micrometers, bore
gauges, comparators) to inspect parts Ensure compliance with
GD&T and quality standards Dress wheels and adjust machines as
needed Perform preventive maintenance Document production and
inspection results Collaborate with engineering and quality teams
Requirements Experience with spline grinding (manual and CNC)
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge Skilled in
precision measurement and inspection High attention to detail and
safety
