Job Description:
The Mechanic-Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is responsible
for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of
refrigeration and air conditioning units, equipment and
corresponding control systems. The Mechanic-Refrigeration and Air
Conditioning troubleshoots and repairs air handling units, dx,
chilled water, hot water, humidifier systems, variable air volume
boxes and all associated electric, pneumatic and direct digital
controls. Additional responsibilities include servicing and
maintaining both reciprocating and screw chillers, environmental
test chambers as well as kitchen refrigeration equipment, custom
automotive test cells, paint booths and building automation system
(BAS). The Mechanic-Refrigeration and Air Conditioning must hold
such licenses as the laws of the community require.
