Job Description Talent4Health is seeking a local contract Cytotechnologist for a local contract job in Detroit, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cytotechnologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 07/14/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Cytotechnologist Responsibilities: Screen Pap smears using ThinPrep Imager Process & stain specimens; detect abnormal cells Classify smears: normal, abnormal, or cancerous Correlate cytology with surgical pathology reports Assist in training, documentation & lab CME programs Attend FNA procedures & assess adequacy Rotate on cubicle/NGYN screening per schedule ?? Relay results & messages to clinicians/lab staff ? Requirements:/n Bachelor’s degree CAAHEP-accredited cytotech program/n ThinPrep Imaging & Processing Certification – Required/n ? Excellent visual acuity, depth perception & color recognition/n ?
