Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/16/2026 Duration: 7 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Title: Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical ICU (MSICU) (Nights) Midland, MI Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction Description This position performs a variety of integrated pre and post-operative critical care functions, intuitively, using the nursing process while applying a broad nursing knowledge in a caring, concerned manner. Responsibilities (25%)* Assesses patient for physical, emotional, psych/social and family support. (25%)* Organizes and coordinates all aspects of patient care according to the patient’s real and/or perceived needs. (25%)* Evaluates patient progress by correlating patient information with nursing knowledge to determine if goals are being met according to the patient’s plan of care or clinical path. (25%)* Consults and collaborates with members of the healthcare team in planning and implementing total patient care for individuals. Requirements 2 years of SICU Experience - [REQUIRED] Open Heart Trained - [REQUIRED] BLS (AHA) & ACLS (AHA) - Required Prior Travel Assignment History - [PREFERRED] Epic EMR Experience - [PREFERRED] Certification Requirements ACLS Certification Requirements BLS State License Requirements Michigan Additional License Requirements Must be active!
