Job Description Psychiatric Technician Do you have a passion for
advancing mental health care? California Correctional Health Care
Services (CCHCS)/California Department of Corrections and
Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking dedicated professionals, like you,
to provide compassionate care to our diverse patient population.
$71,460 - $105,084 annual salary Psychiatric Technicians providing
care within one of our Psychiatric Inpatient Units receive an
additional 15% Stipend of Base Pay Working in a collaborative,
multidisciplinary setting, you will: Provide a basic level of
psychiatric and general nursing care. Observe patients’ physical
condition and behavior and report significant changes. Participate
in the development of treatment plans. Update and maintain
patients’ medical records. Assist rehabilitation therapists with
occupational, recreational, vocational, and educational therapy
programs. You must possess a valid license to practice as a
Psychiatric Technician issued by the Board of Vocational Nurse and
Psychiatric Technician Examiners (BVNPTE). In return for your
