Job Description Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. This opportunity is for a multi-modality technologist skilled in performing procedures across two imaging modalities such as CT, X-ray, or MRI. The primary responsibility involves producing high-quality diagnostic images following prescribed protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires a professional with solid technical expertise and the ability to work efficiently within hospital workflows. Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Minimum 2 years of Radiology Tech experience in a hospital setting. - At least 2 years of CT experience required. - Ohio state license and ARRT certification preferred. - BLS certification preferred upon hire; must be obtained prior to direct patient care. - Experience using GE CT and X-ray equipment preferred. - Prior travel experience is a plus. - Comfortable working with emergency department patients. - Competence in two imaging modalities with certifications or willingness to obtain within 12 months (e.g., CT, MRI, Ultrasound). - Knowledge of safety protocols, venipuncture, medication administration, and operation of power injectors. - Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient-centered care skills. Position Details: - Location: Fostoria, OH. - Schedule: 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., every fourth weekend, and every other holiday. - This position offers a local candidate rate adjustment. - Typical workload averages 3 patients per hour. - Requires on-call availability. - Contract position. Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across two modalities. - Obtain and verify patient clinical history and relevant lab work. - Ensure radiation protection and follow all safety policies. - Administer contrast agents and medications as required. - Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. - Maintain accurate patient documentation and logs. - Adapt to multiple departments throughout shifts as needed.
