A healthcare opportunity is available for a skilled multi-modality imaging technologist in Fostoria, OH, specializing in radiologic and computed tomography (CT) procedures. This contract position offers a dynamic role focusing on producing high-quality diagnostic images using two imaging modalities such as X-ray and CT, with a particular emphasis on emergency department patients. The position includes a night shift schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM, every fourth weekend, and every other holiday with a 7 PM start on holiday nights. Local candidates are preferred. Key Responsibilities - Perform imaging procedures across two modalities (e.g., XR and CT) following approved protocols. - Obtain and accurately document patient clinical histories and appropriate lab work. - Administer contrast media and medications as prescribed, utilizing power injectors when needed. - Apply safety and radiation protection principles to minimize risks to patients and staff. - Verify patient identification with two identifiers and validate imaging orders. - Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and ensure high-quality patient care. - Participate in on-call rotation as required. Qualifications/Desired Experience - Minimum 2 years of radiology technologist experience and 2 years of CT experience in a hospital setting. - Valid Ohio license, ARRT certification, and BLS preferred. CT registry highly desired. - Experience with GE CT and X-ray equipment, emergency department patient care, and multi-modality workflows. - Previous travel experience is a plus. - Associates degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program strongly preferred.
