Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Midland, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,378 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Midland, Michigan, 48640! Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 or 10 hours Experience: 2 years License: State License Required Certifications: BLS (AHA) Required Must-Have: Epic Experience Preferred Description: This position is responsible for assessing the needs of each patient before and during a surgical procedure. The RN outlines individual care plans and implements, evaluates, and documents care of the patient during surgical procedures. Provides leadership to the operating room team. Communicates with the patient and family, operating room team, supervisor, manager, and ancillary departments. Participates in staff development through preceptorship and continuing education. Responsibilities: Assesses the needs of the surgical patient and develops a plan of care specific to that patient. Implements and evaluates the plan of care during the procedure and makes necessary adjustments, keeping patient safety a priority. Supervises activity in the room. Anticipates and coordinates any schedule changes for the room. Assembles equipment and supplies. Assists anesthesia as necessary. Monitors sterile field. Communicates with patient, family, physician, operating room team, supervisor/manager, and ancillary departments.
