We are a small, growing clinic, with a stellar reputation in the community who are looking to expand our team with other passionate clinicians. We are actively seeking to hire both fully Licensed and Limited License Social workers who are motivated and passionate about mental health. We most often see students and professionals from around the Ann Arbor area which has proven to be an interesting, and fulfilling population to work with. We are seeing a growing need for clinicians interested in working with kids & teens, as well as couples, but a generalist practitioner would do well in our clinic! We provide supervision to limited license social workers and have found some great passionate people who are early in their careers. Great providers can be found in my stages of their careers! At Joy Family Center, most often we see students, professionals, and community members referred through our network of physicians, psychiatrists, and large organizations we’ve developed relationships with. We have a growing waitlist and would love to bring on additional clinicians to join our awesome team. We want our patients to be comfortable, respected, and competently cared for when they are under our care. We prioritize strong therapeutic relationships in combination with evidence-based treatment. We believe in being honest, open, and direct in our interventions. We are located in Ann Arbor, MI but also offer telehealth appointments; being in the Ann Arbor area is preferred but not strictly required. You make your own schedule and work collaboratively to develop your caseload. We prioritize work/life balance and don't promote a style of working that leads to burnout. We want you to take care of yourself so you can take care of your patients. One way we do this is we provide the option to use an AI program for note taking, that drastically reduces the time spent on paperwork and documentation! We are looking to hire 1-2 people who desire to see a full-time caseload of 20 patients a week. Responsibilities: Utilize evidence-based treatment and provide best practice care Conduct regular appointments with clients who wish to converse with a mental health professional Establish positive and trusting relationships with clients Document encounters utilizing an electronic medical records system in a prompt manner Maintain your professional license and liability insurance License/ Certifications: Those with limited license are encouraged to apply. We can offer supervision for LLMSW Social workers seeking hours toward licensure. Those with full licensure in other counseling disciplines are also welcome to apply. Education: MSW, PhD Experience: We prefer those with 1-2 years of practice experience in related types of settings as outpatient mental health. Compensation includes a highly competitive percentage split of all income earned regardless of the number of patients seen or hours worked. There are additional incentives for those who carry higher caseloads (25 per week) We have a growing waitlist of highly motivated patients with diverse clinical presentations, most often from the Ann Arbor community. A comfortable office setting with easy access by bus or vehicle with ample parking for patients and therapists. AI driven note taking An EMR to ease the process of record keeping while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Access to HIPAA compliant video conferencing. Our staff includes a biller to support claims and ensure payment and an office manager to support administrative needs. As a 1099 affiliate you will be entitled to choose patients as you deem appropriate, and choose your schedule as you wish so long as patient needs are being appropriately managed. Many of our staff work 3-4 days per week at the times they wish and find the independence greatly rewarding over the demands of working a traditional 9-5. You decide your availability. All of our staff is paneled with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan which has proven to be one of the best companies to work with as providers. A steady stream of a variety of patients with no obligation to take cases which aren’t a fit for you.
