We are looking for a Housekeeping Manager whose duties will include:

• Interview, hire, train, supervise, develop, discipline, and counsel team members accordingly
• Maintain inventory of all guest rooms and housekeeping supplies including all month end inventories
• Address guests complaints regarding housekeeping service
• Check vacant, expected departure, and discrepant rooms
• Clean rooms and assist in laundry when necessary
• Inspect linen closets and storage areas
• Maintain Lost & Found log
• Prepare schedules, reports, and ensure proper staffing levels based on hotel's occupancy
• Operate hotel property management system
• Issue and inventory keys
• Ensure property operations meet all internal audit standards
• Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics which inspire team members to meet and exceed standards and promotes team member empowerment
• Schedule and conduct departmental meetings
• Keep work area neat and organized
• Maintain good working relationship with other departments
• Examine carpets, drapes, and furniture for stains, damage or wear and report need for room repairs to the Chief Engineer and the General Manager
• Must have at least 2 years housekeeping experience, and 3 years supervisory experience
• Must be able to analyze routine data to make appropriate judgements regarding the process of inspecting/cleaning guest rooms and supervisory duties.
• Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds. Job frequently requires use of arms, hands, and fingers. Requires walking, sitting, crouching, kneeling, standing.
