Job Description Job Description Akkodis is seeking a Technical Program Project Management Specialist for a Contract with a client in Allen Park, MI(Hybrid). You will design, operate, and maintain enterprise servers and secure virtualized environments to support hybrid and cloud-based business operations. Rate Range: $65/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Technical Program Project Management Specialist job responsibilities include: Design, operate, and maintain enterprise servers, including specialty mainframe systems (IBM/LPARs), HPC, and hybrid/cloud environments to ensure optimal business operations. Research, implement, and sustain complex infrastructure solutions (e.g., data warehouses, IAM, event frameworks, containerization, and on-demand scaling) based on internal customer needs. Design and configure secure virtualized environments aligned with enterprise architecture—covering VMs, virtual networks, and distributed/high-speed storage (SAN, HDFS, SSD). Engineer or enhance monitoring solutions to validate configuration, performance, and security posture; proactively detect and remediate issues. Monitor and optimize resource utilization (CPU, memory, storage, network) to prevent runaway costs and ensure capacity aligns with service-level expectations. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and plan future capacity, advising enterprise architecture teams with trends and recommendations for blueprint updates. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2–4 years of IT experience, including at least 2 years in infrastructure design and operations. Hands-on experience in server configuration and maintenance, including mainframe, hybrid, and cloud environments.
