The Role: Implementation Specialist

The Implementation Specialist at Billhighway is expected to support the organization in the area of client and internal program management. What you will do:

• Lead and manage enterprise client implementations of Billhighway solutions for new customers. Lead and direct the activities of internal resources, vendors (as needed), and clients throughout the project to completion, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain project timeline. Monitor project progress, coordinate resources, and adjust schedule when necessary to ensure the least amount of negative impact to the overall project.
• Communicate and manage project status, milestones/scope, action items, risks and issues.
  • Manage the completion and approval of project deliverables in accordance with the project timeline.
  • Participate in the solution development process, to reaffirm initial scoping documents, and ensure that customer requests and needs are recorded for inclusion in any product enhancements
  • Identify and escalate project risks and lead risk mitigation and resolution activities.
  • Gather and analyze client business requirements and objectives and provide recommendations on how to best tailor the software configuration to meet those objectives.
  • Identify and recommend product customizations, enhancements, and/or workarounds to enhance the client's experience
  • Lead the configuration workflow for new client implementation projects.
  • Support solution architects and product teams in the design of new functionality, as applicable
  • Support partnership and integration work streams by assisting with development of integration scenarios, configuring test environments and supporting User Acceptance Testing
  • Participate in internal testing for new functionality and support User acceptance testing with clients
  • Assist with pre-launch review and validation prior to go live
  • Develop deep understanding of most features and functionality, ideally becoming a subject matter expert (SME) in specific areas of the platform
  • Facilitate internal training programs to offer a knowledge share for Billhighway team members on configuration best practices, various client use cases, or platform functionality (as applicable)
  • Identify enhancements to implementation processes, tools and metrics used to support the implementation process
  • Utilize Billhighway dept. metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of implementation processes
  • Manage internal cross-functional projects, as availability permits. Client implementation projects will take priority.

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 3-5 years of software business analysis or Accounting experience
    • Experience in design and implementation of package-based enterprise software solutions
    • Aptitude for creative thinking and problem solving
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
    • High energy and positive attitude
    • Ability to take initiative
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
    • Experience implementing Software-as-a-Service based applications
    • Ability to easily adapt to changing or evolving needs
    • Strong desire to understand how different technology solutions are best leveraged by different clients
    • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
    • Aptitude for creative thinking
