The Data Scientist will work on Industry 4.0 initiatives that
involves predictive maintenance and digital quality. He/she will
work with industrial specialists, functional and IT teams.

Experience exploring and defining data sets.
High competency using analytics tools to create insights and build
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with industrial specialists throughout the
organization, helping them to conceptually frame and refine
relevant business questions.
Help to define proper dataset features that feeds analytics tools
Develop custom machine learning models and algorithms.
Coordinate with Functional and IT teams to deploy models.
Communicate findings to different stakeholders.
Act as a liaison between the local operations team, corporate and
division teams in order to support the deployment of the
Represent part of the IT group to build, develop and grow business
relationships vital to the success of IT and technical support.
Participate in weekly meetings with NAFTA division team, sharing
weekly wins or struggles encountered.
Run and distribute daily/weekly/monthly reports/KPIs to
production/management teams, as requirements dictate.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate's Degree in Data Science, Actuary, Applied Statistics,
Computing or other related field.
Knowledge in Physics, Mechanics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics and
Experience working with different type of datasets, databases and
data streaming architectures.
Experience using statistical computer languages/packages.
Experience using data analytics and visualization tools.
Experience in machine-learning techniques (clustering,
classification, regression, anomaly detection, neural networks, and
time series analysis).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Coding experience (preferably java) to write and document code.
Knowledge of statistical techniques (hypothesis testing, Bayesian
statistics, properties of distributions).
Excellent interpersonal & organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to manage priorities.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional
