Job DescriptionOur client a leading retailer of sporting goods, has an immediate need for an Accounts Payable Assistant to support the Accounting Department. The Accounts Payable Assistant will assist with processing high volumes of invoices on a daily basis.This is an indefinite contract position paying between $16.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience. The hours are 8a.m. – 5p.m., Monday – Friday.Accounts Payable Assistant Duties:

• Opening. coding and keying in invoices into the proprietary software.
• Ensure invoices and check requests for store locations were processed accurately.
• Ensure vendor files are accurate and up to date to expedite payment processing.
• Assisting with sales auditing.
• Review sales reports to cash sales, credit card sales, check sales to total sales.

  • HSD/GED, Associates degree a plus
  • Proficient with Excel and Outlook
  • 2+ years of recent accounts payable experience
