GENERAL SUMMARY:
Work collaboratively with leadership to identify training needs.
Develop a training curriculum for all new and existing employees.
Utilize Subject Matter Experts (SME) to develop and maintain
instructional materials and procedures related to the activities
within HAP Departments. Design course content, using information
gained from requesting party through needs assessments. Evaluate
the impact of delivered training programs by identifying criteria
that can be used to assess the effectiveness of training. Plan
training schedules considering operational needs. Facilitate
training sessions for HAP and/or vendor partner staff directly or
indirectly responsible for any customer related
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Meets and confers with department leadership to identify
training needs and develop plans to implement.
2. Analyzes requested training program to determine if it meets the
needs of the requesting party, using knowledge of current and
future trends in training curriculums and processes, as well as
information obtained from management.
3. Presents information, using a variety of instructional
techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, team
exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures.
4. Conducts Train-the-Trainer sessions and provide continuous
support for all employees who assist in the facilitation of
technical training courses in which they are the Subject Matter
Experts (SME).Plan, organize, and facilitate training classes for
both specialized and general topics relating to job specific
curriculum, systems navigation, and service improvement needs of
the organization.
5. Preparation for each training course, including room set up,
ordering necessary supplies, assembly of classroom materials,
equipment checks, system loading, checking training system to
ensure all necessary information is accessible, and ordering
supplementary materials from the warehouse.
6. Leads or supports the design, development and deployment of
course content, design presentations, job manuals, job aides and
other member/provider education materials (online or classroom
based) and develop programs to address staff needs.
7. Plans, organizes, facilitates, and evaluates New Hire Training.
Evaluates and monitors new staff while in training. Responsible for
the OJT and certification of all new hires.
8. Supports coaching and development for new and existing employees
while providing continuous follow-up with employees. Monitors,
evaluates and records training activities and program
effectiveness.
9. Responsible for ongoing knowledge management, rollout of updates
to training
materials while supporting pertinent process, system, compliance
and regulatory
changes
10. Participates in Rapid Redesign and continuous improvement
workshops,
departmental staff meetings, and other forums aligned to the
quality assurance.
