Job Description:

Flagstar Bank is looking for an intern to join our Cloud Engineering and Operations team over the summer. As a Flagstar Intern you will have the opportunity to learn the daily functions and operations of our Cloud Engineering and Operations department. During this time, you will interact with team members and leaders to gain real-world experience by working alongside our team to learn our processes and improve efficiencies while expanding on the core concepts introduced throughout your college classes. Throughout your internship you will participate in multiple engagement sessions designed to enhance your career outlook, communication skills, and business knowledge.Projects: Assist with github migration. Shadow on develops projects and develop/update documentation to be added to our cloud architecture. Help develop cloud information/terraform YAML for projects.
Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent Required.
• Current college/university student or recent graduate pursing a major in IT, or related area of study required.
• Familiar with scripting languages such as python or node.js.
• Familiar with markup lanugage such as json and/or yaml.
• Motivated to learn and improve operational processes.
• Able to demonstrate solid writing and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and have a strong attention to detail.
• Adjusts positively to quickly-changing priorities and shifting goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong numeric and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to manage projects in an effective and productive manner.
