Akkodis is seeking a LIDAR FUNCTIONAL OWNER - PARKING & BRAKING position with a client located in Troy, MI.PAY/SALARY RANGE: $110-$125k SUMMARY: The Feature Owner (FO) is a technical expert for parking & braking features. They own every system design aspect of the feature and supports the Feature or System Manager by working out details and providing a consistent solution.LiDAR FUNCTIONAL OWNER - PARKING & BRAKING RESPONSIBILITIES: Member of the function core team, provide technical leadership for discussions and planning with project/program management Cooperates with System/SW Architects, Software Development and Test engineers to ensure consistency relating to Parking & Braking features Defines his/her features with respect to boundaries, conditions and constraints Creates and updates system requirements for his/her customer features. For safety relevant items he/she defines also mechanisms for fault detection, related reactions and compensatory behavior Ensures his/her feature decomposed and respects the one feature one Specification, ensures that the he Feature module consists of the standard functional requirements specification defined in one feature one specification concept. Ensures traceability between stakeholder and system requirements for his/her feature Puts his/her customer feature on the bench and on the test vehicle into operation Supports problem resolution and change management for his/her related feature together with Hardware, Software and Testing Defines KPIs and performance per feature in alignment with system requirements, develops appropriate measurement procedures Provides the technical lead for a feature Review first test strategy, test list and test setup provide technical lead to support customer meetings and test drives Contribute in the definition of the interfaces of the customer feature to the e.g. Overall Vehicle system, Company's Platform environment system, Communication, Hardware Design, Diagnostics, Configuration & coding REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Software Engineering Higher degree preferred Minimum 4 years of automotive or robotics experience. Previous assignment experience within an vehicle OEM or Tier 1 feature systems organization Strong communication skills with specific experience in customer technical proposal presentation development and delivery Good knowledge of embedded software and systems.
