DescriptionThe Scheduling Optimization Coordinator -is primarily
responsible for continually reviewing and updating Provider
schedules to maximize Provider utilization and schedule members
timely. - Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review all Provider schedules daily and rearrange the calendars
to balance and optimize the schedule
- Alert the Manager - Call Center of any consistent scheduling
discrepancies that require attention
- Alert the Clinical Team of the need for additional Provider
availability
- Provide quality assurance oversight for the schedule to ensure
only compliant visits are scheduled
- Be available in scheduling platforms to schedule new
visits
- Reschedule cancelled or no show visits, as needed
- Assist with special project scheduling campaigns, as
needed
- Alert Providers of any last minute schedule changes
- Lead targeted call campaigns based on real time production
- Other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills and
Experience
- High school diploma/GED
- 1+ years of experience in a high-volume call center or
scheduling experience in a healthcare environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a call center
environment
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work assignments
to meet department deadlinesPreferred Knowledge, Skills and
Experience
- Proven, positive interactions with medical professionals and
