DescriptionThe Network Engineer supports the day-to-day operations
of HarmonyCares and its associated companies in the home healthcare
field through documentation and implementation of robust, secure
and scalable telecom and network solutions. - As a Network Engineer
you will:
- Provide direction, information, and recommendations regarding
new network technologies
- Perform a wide variety of evaluation, maintenance, installation
and training tasks to ensure the computer network performance meets
company and user satisfaction
- Design, support and manage Cisco UCCX, Cisco Agent Desktop, UCS
servers, CUCM, - Unity Connection and SIP Gateways, including
Juniper based routing and switching like WAN, LAN, and
telecom.
- Support MPLS network and SIP and POT telecom services for our
40 locations
- Support Cisco or other enterprise class network security,
including ASA firewalls, VPN, web filters, etc.
- Work with end users to resolve tickets in timely manner
regarding any of the above services and technologies
- Assist with developing pricing and contract with vendors for
software, licenses, network components, equipment, cabling, and
wiring for new implementations or upgrade
- Occasional travel, working after hours and weekends will be
required
- Participates in on call in rotation with the rest of the
teamQualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license with no restrictions
- Strong knowledge of UCCX, CUCM, Unity Connection and proficient
with Cisco UCS and Cisco products in VMware
- Extensive experience supporting network infrastructure using
Cisco and Juniper products
- Comprehensive troubleshooting skills and techniques and
proficient with best industry tools and practices
- Willing to learn and work with new technologies and passion to
stay on top of emerging technologies
- Ability to independently assed and prioritize task, incidents
and emergencies in an agile environmentWon't you join us? We are
