Your Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Conducts mechanical design engineering activities to develop competitive products
  
• Develop -products to achieve intended level of function, durability, cost, quality - and manufacturability
  
• Perform calculations to validate design on paper prior to part production with the goal to reduce cost and increase speed of development process
  
• Conduct tolerance stack-ups and basic engineering calculations
  
• Trained in 70:20:10 model which emphasizes a mixture of hands on experience, mentoring, and formal training
  
  Your Qualifications
  • 
    
  • Actively working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in -Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
    
    
    Preferred Qualifications
    
    
    • 
      
    • Demonstrate ability to work independently and use creative problem solving techniques to resolve issues
      
    • Good soft skills (communicative, team oriented, ability to deal with conflicts and criticism)
      
    • Good understanding of engineering principles - materials, design, dynamics, structures, and manufacturing
      
    • Self-motivated and motivated to achieve results
      
    • Strong Microsoft Office suite skills
