Apply today to create new possibilities.Job Flexibility-- --- -- --Hybrid Position: The role will allow employees to work offsite but will also require onsite work-based business needs.--Overview--The primary responsibility is to design and production release axle/suspension systems and components for Trailer Products. This person will interface with customers, suppliers, test labs, production manufacturing facilities, and several internal engineering groups (brakes, analytical mechanics, experimental mechanics, materials, etc).Job Responsibilities-- ---Create solid modeling, layout and drawings necessary for product design of axle/suspension components and systems. This will include the use of CAE tools; Creo and Simulate.---Must be able to check major design and drawings prepared by other drafting personnel with respect to accuracy, technical adequacy, and conformance with accepted procedures.---Interface with all aspects of engineering to meet customer requirements with focus on project timing and product design.---Work with other designers and engineers to release detailed drawing packages.---Establish good working relationships with team members, outside suppliers, customers and various internal groups.
