Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday--What You'll Do:As a Scheduler, you
will be responsible for managing the schedule for home remodeling
installation jobs for designation locations. The Scheduler will
monitor and track the availability of the customer and the
installation crew to ensure that scheduled work can occur as needed
and within the availability of both parties. The Scheduler will
determine the installation needs of the customer and reviews the
installation crew's abilities and limitations to make sure the best
crew for the job is scheduled. The Scheduler will need to have the
ability to problem solve, forecast, and think strategically about
the best and most efficient way to schedule installation jobs to
ensure completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong
organizational and communication skill, as well as problem solving
skills and a drive to get things done. The following includes more
details on what you'll handle on a day-to-day basis:
- Communicate with customers in regard to their availability for
installation of their purchases
- Use the company's scheduling technology system to schedule
installers according to their availability
- Communicate with installation crews to determine their
availability to work on assigned projects
- Monitor and track the availability of the customer and the
installation crew
- Enter data into the computer system
- Resolve scheduling conflicts or problems as they occur, or work
with leadership for assistance
- Forecast scheduled availability and job assignment
- Pro-actively analyze gaps in the schedule and/or opportunities
to efficiently get jobs scheduled
- Maintain positive relationships with co-workers, customers, and
crews in order to influence and obtain cooperation
- Make recommendations for system improvements that will increase
efficiencies--What We Need:
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year of professional work
experience
- Must have basic computer skills, including MS Word and
Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Great organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- High attention to detail and accuracyExperience in the home
