COMPANY DESCRIPTIONMahalo Banking is a digital banking company offering credit unions web and mobile banking platforms. Based in Troy, MI.
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTIONSoftware Quality Analyst is responsible for testing new features, bug fixes, and other improvements across multiple browsers and devices. The team member will also create and maintain test cases and other documentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCross-browser and cross-platform testing of all features, improvements, and bug fixes.Create and maintain test plans.Initiate and complete regression testing prior to software releases.Assist in the creation of release notes.Create and maintain feature and support documentation.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESExcellent understanding of all product features and configurations.Offers and accepts constructive feedback on testing practices and tools.Attends and actively participates in team meetings.Abides by the team's working agreement and best practices.Assists in the creation and maintenance of software documentation.
JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 1 year experience in software QA.Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.Excellent communication skills; both written and spoken.Ability to work in a team environment.High school diploma or equivalent required.
PREFERREDBachelor's degree in Information Technology or related degree/certification.Knowledge of software development lifecycle best practices, Agile/Scrum methodologiesExperience with test suite automation (Selenium, Cucumber, Calabash).
