Job Description:

The Senior Business Support Analyst will be responsible for obtaining the analysis of complex data, presenting data in a usable format, preparing reports, communications, formatting documents for best use and preparing presentations at an executive level. The candidate will utilize their skills to monitor key dashboards, scorecards, KPI/KRI reports and models that will drive profitability and growth. The candidate must be able to present information in a clear and concise manner that drives to a decision and/or options. The candidate will need to be able to coordinate key senior management meetings including the development of agendas and materials. --- Monitors key reporting, KPI and KRI data and alerts senior management of noteworthy concerns or trends. --- Facilitate the analysis of complex data sets and/or issues to break them down to determine root cause(s). --- Assembles summarizations of reports, dashboards, models and scorecards for senior management on a daily, weekly or monthly basis by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. --- Gather information and draft communications that span the spectrum from staff to executive level. --- Able to create and effectively communicate recommendations to senior management based on analyzing data or processes. --- Ability to create process flows and conducts process flow analysis and recommend applicable changes to Senior Management. --- Maintain staffing, attrition and open requisition records. --- Maintain and update organizational charts on a regular basis including ensuring HR systems are organizationally correct. --- Creates executive level presentations based on own analysis and/or direction by management. --- Ability to build and provide and present a detailed business case that others can use to perform corrective actions based on information presented. --- Coordinates meetings and assembles and/or creates agendas and other pertinent materials for senior level Fulfillment meetings. Ensures efficiency of key senior manager schedules to minimize meeting content overlap and proper levels and participants to in meetings to maximize meeting time/results. --- Perform clerical duties and support administrative needs as requested by management. --- Complex use of MS Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel (MS Access would be a plus) tools.

  • Preparing reports, communications, formatting documents for best use and preparing presentations
  • Monitors and analyzes reporting/data sources; summarizes findings and recommendations
  • Perform clerical and administrative support duties
  • Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. - Completes all required compliance training. - Maintains knowledge of and adhere to Flagstar's internal compliance policies and procedures. - Job Requirements:
    • Home High Speed Internet required
    • HS Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent required
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Applicants must have in depth knowledge of reporting and data use. - Applicant must have expert level skills on MS Excel required
    • 5-8 years of experience preparing reports, formatting documents for highest use and preparing presentations required
    • 5 years of experience supporting senior level management on their full spectrum of business needs required
    • 2 years of change management, project management or equivalent experience required
    • Outstanding organizational skills.
    • Exceptional analytical skills with an ability to think quickly under pressure.
    • Must have extremely strong listening and problem solving skills.
    • Must have extremely strong documentation and oral communications skills.
    • Must be a self-starter and work productively with minimal direction.
    • Must learn quickly and produce under pressure and tight deadlines.
    • Strong grasp of reporting concepts and design.
    • Understanding of managing projects and business initiatives
    • Mortgage experience is a strong plus.
    • Complex use of MS Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel (MS Access would be a plus) tools. Internal Use Only Job Band G
