Job Description:

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Electrical Construction Coordinator to work in the Troy, MI/Toledo, OH area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.



Responsibilities:
Approximately 50% of the role involves electrical project design in a remote or office environment and 50% travel for onsite electrical construction support and contractor coordination

• 
  
• Act as the design lead or owner's representative on selected projects.
  
• Able to plan, organize, supervise, and review the work of a team of engineers and designers working on the same assigned project.
  
• Meet regularly with client to define project scope, present project progress, and assure client satisfaction.
  
• Develop control system communication architecture design including Ethernet, ControlNet and Remote I/O.
  
• Develop contractor installation/construction packages including riser/conduit installation drawings, device location plans/elevations and installation specifications.
  
• Develop electrical controls schematics including low-voltage power distribution, PLC I/O drawings and 480V motor 1-line & 3-line schematics.
  
• Coordinate and interface with electrical contractors onsite to oversee construction and answer technical questions.
  
• Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Electrical experience in heavy industrial manufacturing required glass, steel, or graphite industry preferred.
    
  • Six (6) years or more of design experience required and/or onsite construction experience.
    
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
    
  • Knowledge of project design, cost estimating, and scheduling.
    
  • Good computer and communication skills
    
  • Ability to work and communicate remotely in an independent and team-oriented environment.
    
  • Ability and desire to travel for field assignments is required.
