Job Description:

Role: SMT Technician
Key Responsibility: Build product assigned to you and on time and with the high quality level using the supplied SMT equipment.
Specific Responsibilities:
Daily work assignments are completed on time and no rework is required.
Production commitments are met per the scheduled due dates.
Shop Traveler and documentation is understood by operator.
Zero rejections at SMT process inspection, due to poor workmanship or process errors.
All work areas are clean, organized, and well maintained.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ Years experience in SMT department
The ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, technical instructions, Bills of Material and Quality standards.
Experience utilizing small hand tools and soldering equipment.
Ability to work accurately and quickly under operational deadlines.
Ability to see small features, distinguish colors.
Learns and retains information, relating to standards and specifications, through provided classroom and on the job training
Knowledge of Electronic Components, Mechanical Components, and PCBs
General computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Based Purchasing.
Strong mechanical aptitude
Thru Hole / SMD soldering skills
