Job Description:

Sales Support Administrator supports various aspects of Mortgage Originations Support team. This position handles many financial aspects of the department's expense management of Third Party Originations and Distributed Retail including reviewing and payment of all invoices associated to this department. The position works closely with internal sales teams, internal departments, vendors and Third Party Customers.

• Reviewing borrower documentation (1200+ monthly) sent by Third Party Originators to approve or deny support of Borrower Paid Compensation Program. Working with TPO Account Executives along with underwriting to clear conditions for borrowers in order to ensure all documentation is finalized for program. Working under time sensitive parameters due to borrower and TPO guidelines.
• Scanning and reviewing of Distributed Retail Packages based on milestone priority. Track packages into Loantrac - insert ITP date to confirm receipt, update disclosures received and clear tasks requiring borrower's signature being generated through updates.
• Receives checks to ensure deposits are handled in a timely fashion. Assists in Account Receivable transactions with payments received or invoicing reconciliation.
• Assisting in other areas of Sales Administrative Support to include but not limited to payments of mortgage origination support invoices, email support, and regional manager exceptions for both TPO and Distributed Retail.
  Job Requirements:
  • HS Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent
  • 1+ year of business or mortgage background is preferred
  • Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel experience preferred
  • Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Completes all required compliance training. Maintains knowledge of and adhere to Flagstar's internal compliance policies and procedures. Takes responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.
