The Purpose of Your Role:Do you want to work for a fast paced, growing organization where people make the difference? In this highly visible role, the Benefits Consultant will work closely with internal stakeholders, prospective clients, COIs, carriers, and service providers. The Benefits Consultant will need to meet Sentinel's objectives for prospecting, consistently hit sales quotas, and maximize revenue-generating opportunities of Sentinel's existing book of business.This multi-faceted opportunity is geared towards an individual with demonstrated strong interpersonal, and relationship building skills. We are looking for a candidate with excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a high level of initiative and adaptability to changing demands.What you'll bring to Sentinel

Serve as a trusted advisor and resource to internal sales and client relationship teams on Health & Welfare compliance issues, providing guidance and support as needed.Leverage your expertise to consult with prospective clients on complex benefit programs and benefits issues, working closely with the consulting team to ensure client satisfaction and retention.Continuously strive to deliver excellence by providing expert advice, developing innovative solutions, and executing strategies that help clients achieve their objectives and drive business results.What you'll be responsible for:
Build strong relationships with prospective clients by working closely with their critical decision makers and maintain regular communication to understand their needs and pain points.Develop customized solutions that specifically address each client's unique challenges and goals, and present them in a clear and compelling way.Communicate the value of our products and services in addressing client needs and delivering tangible benefits to their business.About You:We are looking for innovative thinkers to drive our business and clients forward-someone with customer focus, drive, determination, and the strength of character to challenge the status quo. BS or BA level degree in sales, business administration, communications, finance or equivalent experience At least 2-3 years of related experience in Insurance or PEOsLife and Health Insurance License Strong technical understanding of employee benefits, insurance products, concepts and industry trendsExcellent organizational, communication and presentation skillsMust be a self-starter, assertive, enthusiastic, results driven, self-directed and service orientedAbility to meet deadlines and independently solve problemsExcellent financial/mathematical skillsOutstanding communication skills Significant Excel, Word and PowerPoint experienceWhat you'll be part of: Our people care about our organization.
